I got a kick out of reading this smart action tale set in my hometown, which was also the hometown of the author. Mike MacMillan spins a good story that was fun to read on lots of levels. He does a particularly good job of personalizing the players involved in the second economy, which exists just beneath the surface of most cities. This is a well done first novel.
